Like many artists, I paint what I feel. Whatever mood I’m in on a particular day will come through my paintbrush like a lightning bolt onto the canvas. Feeling blissful, and I’ll use tons of colors. Feeling uncluttered and unburdened, and I’ll paint something with vibrant detail, because I have the room to do so.

This work reflects a time where I felt unburdened by life’s baggage…peace and quiet to focus and think. Rare for most of us, no?
